HUNTER MUSEUM PARKING
The Hunter Museum of American Art will be implementing a new parking system beginning July 1.
Guest parking will still be free but will require registration.
Guest Parking
The Museum has a parking lot adjacent to the building. Guests visiting the museum park for free for up to three (3) hours by registering through Bird Dog Parking and entering a validation code available from the front desk.
- Scan the QR code on the parking signs in the museum lot or text* CPJ to 87517
- Type in your mobile number
- Open the text message and click the link
- Enter your license plate number and select 15 minutes
- Head inside the museum to get a validation code from the front desk
- Unable to scan the QR code?
- The front desk has a link to do it manually, just make sure you know your license plate number
- After your three-hour complimentary visit expires, you may choose to renew your parking spot and pay for parking.
Free street parking may be available in the surrounding Bluff View Arts District. Paid parking is available at Walnut and 3rd Street.

Paid Parking
To park in the Museum parking lot without visiting the museum, you can pay to park through Bird Dog Parking. Since the museum is closed on Tuesdays, all parking in the museum parking lot on Tuesdays will be paid.

- Enter your license plate number and select the rate and amount of time you need

Parking Tickets
If you parked in the Museum parking lot and your vehicle is not registered, you will receive a ticket.
- First offense: Ticket is $40 with a 14-day window to pay
