The Long View: Copperhead Ridge
Saturday, April 5

In partnership with the Appalachian Conservation Institute, the Hunter invites guests to an exclusive guided hike at Copperhead Ridge.
We will meet in Jasper, TN at 9 AM ET and travel as a group to the Ridge’s entry. Guides from the Appalachian Conservation Institute will teach us about sacred sites, native plants and animals, and help us experience the breathtaking beauty of this lesser-known natural refuge. Hunter staff will also be there to connect natural wonders seen on the hike to pieces in our special exhibition The Long View: From Conservation to Sustainability | Works from the Bank of America Collection.
The hike is 2.5 miles and no former hiking experience is required. We will conclude at around 1pm. Lunch and sketching materials are included, and participants will receive passes to the museum so they can return at a later date.
Guests are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothing. Registered participants will be sent directions to the meeting site as well as information on lunch options for vegan and gluten-free lunches.
Participants must be 18 or over.
Adult: $30
Hunter Museum Member: $24
