Art the Mouse: Portraits

Hi, it’s Art again. Today I went on a tour at the museum.

These are some portraits I saw on the tour.

Portraits are drawings, photographs, or paintings of people.

You can learn a lot about a person from their portrait.
You can guess how they are feeling or what they are thinking.
What can you guess about the people in these portraits?

This is my self-portrait. It is me as a famous artist.

When an artist creates a portrait of themselves, it is called a self-portrait.

I like to imagine my self-portrait will be in a museum one day.

What would your portrait look like?

You can draw your own self-portrait.
You can even dress up in your portrait like I did.
