Learn more about the Hunter's Art in Public Places and explore the new works that are going up around the city.
The Art in Public Places initiative is made possible by a generous grant from the Benwood Foundation.The project has allowed the Hunter Museum to acquire four outdoor sculptures and place them in public areas throughout the city including the Chattanooga Zoo, Renaissance Park and Miller Plaza.
The Hunter Museum and the Public Art Committee chose several works for each site and the public was invited to vote on their favorite pieces. The winning pieces are below. Click on the artworks' title below to learn more about the artists and their sculptures.
