Staff Pick: Diane Rosenblum

This photograph, I Think There is Just Too Much Negative Space in All that Sky (Clouds for Comment 1959) by Diane Rosenblum touches on my graphic design sensitivities. It combines image with text, and features a strong composition. Interestingly, the “comment” on this artwork suggests that the composition is weak: “I think there is just too much negative space in all that sky.” Next time someone is unkind to you, remember that it has more to do with that person than with yourself. You are a beautiful composition.
